Pirate Park Refurbishment

To mark our centenary in May 2025, Canford Cliffs Land Society is jointly funding a major refurbishment of the facilities in the Pirate Park, which it originally sponsored some years ago. The current facilities have served the community well but now show the effects of usage, time and weather. In particular, the pirate boat having to be removed has left a big gap in the park facilities. The contribution by the Society will be matched by funding provided by BCP Council from the Community Infrastructure Fund.

Canford Cliffs Land Society have been working with BCP Council during 2025 and into 2026 to design and plan the redevelopment of the Pirate Park, incorporating as many of your ideas shared during our October 2024 consultation as possible, along with suggestions from the playground supplier, and whilst keeping within the available monies. If you provided input, via the website or otherwise, thank you for your participation.

The final design is now agreed, the work ordered, and the first of landscaping works needed to support the refurbishment started by the BCP Council. We hope you like the plans!
